So...I've been pretty distracted lately...I GOT A MACBOOK PRO. It's my graduation present, but I got it early because they had a really good deal going on. xD And man is she beautiful. 13.3" and with the macbook..i got a free ipod touch?!!1 Well you can very well imagine how much I have been playing with these two babies. They're distracting from my drawing though. p:
Here's some life drawings from the past couple Saturdays, and I just started a class at another community college Monday and Wednesday nights from like 7:15-9:30! The teacher seems really nice, I think it will be a great time.
Plus I have high school...and my job. I'm keeping very busy.
Hey Kari! These are beautiful! Keep up the great work. Because you're working so hard now, CalArts won't seem like such a shock once you get there! I especially like the 8th and 12th drawings down. Also the hand on the 13th drawing is very cool too.
ReplyDeleteDon't be afraid to try another medium or two. I'm sure you've played with color or ink, but if you haven't done a lot of it, and if your teacher allows you to, devote a night to just one or the other. I think CalArts loves any medium as long as it demonstrates you have a sound ability to draw and show that you are comfortable with experimenting and can even tell a cool story or two with those drawings.
Just keep on drawing! :D
