wooop!

So...I've been pretty distracted lately...I GOT A MACBOOK PRO. It's my graduation present, but I got it early because they had a really good deal going on. xD And man is she beautiful. 13.3" and with the macbook..i got a free ipod touch?!!1 Well you can very well imagine how much I have been playing with these two babies. They're distracting from my drawing though. p:

Here's some life drawings from the past couple Saturdays, and I just started a class at another community college Monday and Wednesday nights from like 7:15-9:30! The teacher seems really nice, I think it will be a great time.

Plus I have high school...and my job. I'm keeping very busy.

All the lonely people...

Finally some drawings.
So I took a like drawing class 3 days a week during the summer, and it helped SO much. But now that it's over I can only do life drawing once a week for 2 hours on Saturdays. :/ It's tough, I've already noticed I have gotten worse.
Luckily I start another class in a week or two, that will be 2 days a week for 2.5 hours.

Anyway, here are some drawings. The first is an oil painting I did for my Dad's cousin's family, whose daughter just died. :(

Calarts Visit!

Wow, I haven't posted in forever. About 3 weeks ago I went to Calarts to visit the campus, take a tour & information session. Let me tell you...it was incredible. At first my dad, sister and I got there like 1 hour early and we just walked around. At first I was disappointed, it seemed SO small (i knew it was small), the streets cracked...it just...wasn't what I was expecting. (a castle, just kidding) But then we went inside the front enterence, and wow. I just loved it. We walked to the cute little coffee shop and got some hot cocoa, and after bought a pen & postcard at the student shop.

The information sessions was great, a lot of people, but man. Libby is seriously one of the nicest people I have ever met. She seemed so excited about Calarts, and knew so much. She very kindly looked at some of my drawings, and gave me some advice. (most of which I knew) But she told me I'm going in the right direction, and really encouraged me. :)

The tour was awesome. THE BASEMENT, IS THE SICKEST PLACE EVER. (level 5) SHIT. I can't wait to draw something on those walls. haha Honestly, that was just the push I needed to try and practice more and more so I can make it into calarts. I love the school, and it seems like just the place for me. I am extremely independent and hardworking, and it sounds like you need to be in that school. :)

I wish I took more pictures! D:

I will post drawings in my next post. :3

lol me being a loser
