So my high school art teacher is...basically one of the meanest people I have met. I have never heard ONE compliment out of her mouth, all she does is criticize. She grades based on skill, and if she likes what you're doing or not. This one guy wanted to paint some fantasy stuff, and she said "that will probably be pretty cheesy". My friend wanted to paint some imaginary creatures (that were awesome) and she was like, "they may be too cutesy" (she sells these paintings for like...$50-100). Like, who the fuck are you to say. If we want to paint that, let us! You shouldn't be restricting us just because you don't like it.
Oh, and the first day of school she asked if any of us left our paintings there from the year before, since I guess she saw them in the back. And I said I did...so I got my painting (it is a black & white oil just copying this picture I took of Chicago, nothing special just for fun) and she was like "Oh, you're the anal girl" (...don't be a perv) She was like "you like to do alll the little details in your painting bla blalbalblalaa. Oh and I would never let my students use black with oil~!!!1!!!!!" Bitch that was only one of my paintings, I wanted it to be in black & white...and yeah, I WANTED it to be detailed?
Ugh. She is horrible.

Anyway...here are some life drawings!
The ones at the beginning were from my life drawing class...the model didn't show so we just draw stuff around us. I was playing with ink & water. (:

Just some more drawings, played with some pastels and oil pastels.I'm hoping to get some ink soon. (: I'm loving my new class, the teacher is very laid back and basically all we do is draw for 2 hours

The first 2 are 2 minutes, then the next few are 5 minutes...then 10, 15, 20...and I think 1 30 but i dunno. x)
